The fleece of the Gods
undyed nature color baby alpaca
For over 8000 years,
the graceful Andean alpaca has dominated the highest mountains
on the New World, grazing on wild pastures 4000 m above sea level.
Shorn yearly, our alpacas yield a wide range of naturally colored fleece fibers.
The Andean Alpaca pastoralists are paid equal prices for both, white and the
less sought-after colored wool. This preference will not only contribute to
the preservation of the alpaca population, but also to the betterment of the
socio-economic conditions of the indigenous peoples of the highlands.

Exclusively we process undyed nature colors baby alpaca hairs,
which comes in an array of nine shades. At no time are chemical agents
or other artificial means employed during the production of these fibers.

The fleeces and yarns are washed with bio-detergents.
Similar to cashmere and mohair, these yarns are unusually soft, they
produce a higher gloss and are lower of weight without matting or lint.

In Arequipa, where the snow-capped volcanos El Misti and Chachani
overlook the city, we work in a close relationship with indigenous
weavers. They take care for the production of our nature color baby
alpaca cable, english and jersey knits in an absolute high quality.

100% handmade
nature color eco alpaca & organic nativo cotton
In co-operation with our production partner „El Gran Pajaten“
we combine the finest color grown organic cotton fibers with pure
nature colors alpaca hairs. The yarns and knits are exclusively made
by hand by the indigenous women of the highland in Puno,
at the lake of Titicaca, under fairtrade conditions.

Textile moths too are attracted from the purity of our
Alpaca collection. However, what moths do not like at all
is the smell of the wood of cedar and cotton fibers. That's why
we attach to every piece of these noble clothing a cotton bag
for storing, which can be closed with a stick of wood of cedar.
